Pre-K & Kindergarten Screening

New Simpson Hill Preschool Screenings and Kindergarten Registration will be held on Friday, March 14^th.  Parents need to call 658-8536 to set up an appointment.

All children ages Birth through Preschool age, born after September 1, 2022, will be screened, and children born on or before September 1, 2020, and planning to enter Kindergarten will be screened.

All children will need to have their Birth Certificate (copy of Certified with County Seal required), Recent Physical & Shot Record and Social Security Card.  If you are receiving Food Stamp/TANF(10 to 13 digit case number) and/or Medicaid (9 digit number per child) benefits, please bring documentation with you.

Before coming to the screening, parents/guardians are asked to complete the Ages & Stages Questionnaires, Third Edition (ASQ-3) linked here:  https://asqonline.com/family/731326

Areas tested include: Visual Motor, Language and Cognition, Gross Motor, Vision and Hearing.

Agencies participating in this screening are New Simpson Hill Pre-Kindergarten, Child and Family Connections, Headstart, JAMP Education Cooperative and NSH School.
